I'm late in leaving a review, but, a memory reminded me to now do so. 1 year and 2 weeks ago, Walley got me SHARP for a friends wedding!!! We picked out the auto, had it ordered, and he tailored it for me! I received so many compliments on the suit. It fit and wore Great!!! Even better than his work, is his personality!!! Quality suits and a reasonable price!!!

I'm from out of town (Baltimore, MD) Don't set fire to my post...Lol..I needed slacks as soon as I got back home and wouldn't have time to not only shop but get them hemmed and tailored. Wallie took care of me in less than 30 minutes. I was out the door with 2 pairs of nice Italian pants for a fair price. Who knows...Wallie and I may have started the beginning of mending the two cities! Great store. Definitely recommend.

New to Pittsburgh—accidentally showed up in town for an event that was business dress/casual with only jeans and t-shirts so I wanted to get something a little nicer to wear. Came here based on the google maps reviews and they didn’t disappoint. It’s hard to find customer service like this anywhere anymore. Highly recommend.

Wally is always amazing, he really makes the process of getting a suit quick and painless. He has a wide variety of suits and is an extremely talented tailor! I used to go to other places for my suits, but none of those other places are nearly as nice as the service that Wally offers. This was my second visit and I have zero regrets! I encourage you to stop by and say hi and take a look around. Best suits in Pittsburgh!

Wally is THE MAN! He has suits for every occasion. I wish I met him 20 years ago. Do yourself a favor and stay away from Men’s Warehouse. Only con if any is trying to find parking but it’s downtown Pittsburgh so it’s expected.

Wally! Go see him, the man is a literal lifesaver. Saw him with a suit emergency, and like it was nothing Wally got me fitted, tailored, and looking incredible for a wedding (no joke, I got more compliments than my wife that night - Wally, I promised you a picture so I’ll get one added ASAP!). Genuinely kind, personable, knowledgeable, a true expert and great person. Cannot recommend highly enough. I told everyone at the wedding if they have any suit needs to visit Wally. Thank you immensely!

I’ve been a loyal customer of Apparel House on Smithfield Street in Downtown Pittsburgh for many years, purchasing everything from suits and shoes to shirts and belts. This most recent visit, however, was especially meaningful as I was shopping to elevate my son’s professional wardrobe. At 6’6” with a slim build and a 42” extra-long suit requirement, shopping off the rack is nearly impossible for him. Still, we decided to give Apparel House a try and I’m glad we did. While browsing their extensive selection, my son was drawn to a brown suit that immediately caught his eye. Once he tried it on, Walley Yasin, the owner, stepped in and confidently assessed what needed to be done. His expertise was evident as he explained the alterations required to transform the suit into something that looked and felt tailor-made for my son’s body structure. Order placed: January 6 Minor adjustments made: January 8 Final suit completed & picked up: January 9, 2026 That turnaround time deserves real praise. No one in Pittsburgh or else where has a turn-around for alterations as quickly as Apparel House in just a few days, my son walked away with a sharply off the rack tailored suit that fits him perfectly, something that’s incredibly rare for tall 6'6" , slim build. Major respect to Mr. Yasin for his craftsmanship, professionalism, and speed. Apparel House carries a wide range of suits that truly cater to everyone, including those with non-standard builds.
